What is “ZaZa”? What does it stand for? Why would anyone name a company ZaZa Network, ZaZa Software, ZaZa Hosting or ZaZaCHAT?
The answer is not as complicated or smart as you might expect… Here’s a story of “ZaZa”.
After a long day at work, a tired man came home. The sun was just beginning to set.
His wife and 10 months old son greeted him with smiles and kisses.
The family sat down to have dinner.
“How was your day, honey?” – asked the wife, “Same old” – answered the man, “Nothing new. Work, work, work… You know, I had this idea today of establishing a company which will help to start and enable e-businesses with all the tools necessary to run successful web operations. I mean everything, web site development and administration, hosting, support, an array of webmaster tools, marketing and other required components to publish and run a successful e-company. What do you think about that?”
“I think it is a great idea, what are you going to call it?” – asked the wife.
“I did not come up with the name yet.” – answered the man.
“Why don’t you ask your son? He started speaking today, I don’t know what he’s saying but he’s definitely speaking” – said the wife smiling.
“What do you think we should call the company, Tal?” – asked the man looking at his son and smiling.
“zaaaazaaaaa” – said little Tal, “zaaaazaaa” – he repeated.
The man and his wife looked at each other astonished.
“ZaZa Network” – said the man – “ZaZa Network” – he repeated…
The man, Michael Kansky, the founder of ZaZa Network, Inc, established the company 3 months later. Of course his son, Tal, will always be a co-founder of the company:)
